Cheerleading

2006 was the inaugural year for the Chatham-Kent Cougars All-Star Cheerleading squad. The Cougar Cheerleaders cheer at the Junior Cougar home games in Chatham in the late spring and early summer. Generally, the cheerleaders will be practicing Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings at 7:30 PM, however, there are some special events and clinics from time to time.

About Adrienne Day

Adrienne currently coaches at Chatham-Kent Secondary School as well as the competitive cheer team at the University of Windsor. She has been in competitive dance for eighteen years. She was a cheerleader at York University for three years and a member of the Toronto Titans All-Star team, where they won a national championship. She was also a coach of the Newmarket High School Raiders -- they placed in the top three nationally in each of her four years there. Adrienne has also coached the “minis” at Motion City Gymnastics in Chatham.
