Is football safe? The Chatham-Kent Cougars Football Club offers football clinics where safety and football fundamentals are emphasised to everyone. During our clinics we group players by size and skill level. New equipment has been purchased with safety in mind. The club has consulted local paediatricians and has researched youth football material on safety. We believe equipping our youth with new equipment and teaching them safety at a young age will empower players to safe techniques prior to high school, travel football, university football, and beyond.
